Jim Yu, founder of PABA RE Construction, has carried a lifelong passion and commitment for building. At the age of 9, he migrated with his family from China to Sydney and grew up in Kogarah, in Sydney’s south. Facing both language and financial challenges, he was deeply touched by the warmth and support of his local community. This experience shaped his belief in giving back and building with heart.

A graduate of Civil Engineering at the University of New South Wales, Jim has worked in the local construction industry for over a decade, gaining extensive hands-on experience across industrial, residential, and commercial projects. Today, he is not only a seasoned construction professional but also an active contributor to community development—supporting local culture and growth as the naming sponsor of the Hurstville Night Market and a silver sponsor of the Georges River Mid-Autumn Festival.
