Georges River Association is dedicated to enriching the leisure life of local residents by partnering with cultural groups and charitable organisations from Sydney and beyond to celebrate traditional Chinese festivals such as Lunar New Year, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Dragon Boat Festival.
Our events feature a diverse range of performances and activities, including traditional dance, Chinese music, drama, martial arts, vegetarian food, folk crafts, calligraphy and painting, Chinese classics, and cultural games.
In addition, the association regularly organises a variety of sports activities throughout the year to further enhance community wellbeing and recreation.

In order to show the beautiful cultural scenery of the Georges River area, the "George River Superforex Cup Photo Contest" hosted by the Georges River Association and co-hosted by the Australian Digital Photography Association is about to launch. The photography competition has a total prize fund of 1,700AUD. The organizer will organize a charity sale of works, and the money raised from the charity sale will be used for charitable causes in the Georges River area. This event was sponsored by Superforex.
